"THOMPSON, Jeanette Alison" Comments
Much love to Ian, Meg, Bruce and Ken. I will be eternally grateful for Jeanette’s prayers, and for the seeds she sowed before I was five.
To Ian and Families – We were saddened to hear of Jeanette’s passing and our thoughts have been with you all since we had the news from John. She was an amazing woman with all she achieved over the years and what she had to cope with in later years when she was so unwell. She will be constantly missed by all of you. We are sorry we cannot be with you tomorrow, but will certainly be watching the live stream.
Love to you all,
Kay and Ian
At this time of sadness, think of the moments of laughter that were shared, of the character she forged and principles she instilled. While her life with you is no more, her legacy lives on.
Love from Michelle, Phil and Liam xox
Ps:Meg, if I lived closer, there would be a home cooked casserole coming your way.
Dearest Friend, we travelled many a road together since 1996. I treasure the friendship you and Ian gave me.
Fly free now and watch over your family always.
Love Judy Taylor.
Sending lots of love to Bruce, Saro, Josha, Anika and Lukesh and your whole family, particularly Ian, on this day of both sadness and celebration of your beautiful wife, mum and grandma.

Thinking of you all at this very sad time and sending love. I feel so lucky to have met Nette and fondly remember her warmth and laughter at family get-togethers in Melbourne. Such a beautiful service and so wonderful to hear about Nette’s life.
What a wonderful memory of Jeanette and such a beautiful eulogy by Bruce. The music carefully selected to recall our times together. Nette will always be part of my thoughts and memories.
Much love to Ian and Family from Jackie, Robert, Gill and Steph.
Dear Ian and family
What a wonderful wife , mother and friend to many, was Nette. She has gone to where there are no pain and sickness, although those who are left grieve their loss.
My the Lord God comfort you in your grief.
Love
Peter
As a fellow forestry student with Ian I suspect I may have been there when Jeanette and Ian first set eyes on each other at a church event in Creswick in 1965?
I have been thinking of you today, Ian and family, and appreciate the online access you have arranged so those of us far away can sense the feeling of the farewell ceremony for Jeanette. Thank you too for the collage of photographs, a few there from our time together at Creswick, and also for the music evocative of that time! When we old foresters stir ourselves to organise a reunion I hope you can join us Ian. If Bruce’s eulogy is available in print I’m sure if it could be emailed it would touch the hearts of those who could not be at the funeral. Best wishes to all in Jeanette and Ian’s family. Farewell Jeanette.
Sending our deepest sympathy from England, to Ian and family. No more pain and suffering . Rest in Peace Nette.
Our love to you all
