"Graham, Peter Thomas" Comments

Greg Howardsays:

Dearly Wendy, Geordie, Leigh, George, Emma, Flynn, Pippa and Lenny,

Apologies for not being able to attend today, but sadly I am away on a business trip that could not be postponed.

My deepest sympathies for the loss of Peter, it really was quite a shock.

Although I didn’t know Peter for long, he was one of the first to greet me at the Bowls club when I first joined, and pretty much the first to welcome me back on every return visit. I will never forget his kindness, thoughtfulness and the lovely pair of green bowling shorts that he bought me. Sad that I couldn’t be at the funeral today to wear them over the top of my thermals.

Thinking of you all today and in the months and years ahead as you navigate life without him. Hope to see you soon Wendy.

Love

Greg, Joseph and Tobias

Daryl Bitconsays:

To Wendy, Geordie, Leigh and families.

We send you our condolences and love today.
It was great to reminisce with you a month ago and to relive our days in Shepparton and our connection to the Bonlac family.
Peter and I played football against each other and relationships would be tested on the days before a game at Deakin reserve.
I am glad we had our day with you in Albury and we will remember Pete as a local legend.
Love and best wishes.
Daryl and Kate

Claire Salter Parrysays:

Remembering Uncle Pete today – the neverending supply of Milky Freezes from the garage freezer and jam donuts from the Ducats days, trips down to the back paddock to check on horses, mucking around in the orchard, trying to set you up with your first alcholic drink at 10am on Christmas Day and big hugs after a long time between visits. A cheeky, complex soul.

Sending all my love to Wend, Geord, Leigh and the kids. Look forward to spending time together when I’m able to get down.

Love, Claire
