Stanley Edmund Elliott

For more than 20 years, Stan has been part of our lives – a quiet, steady presence whose friendship meant more than words can easily express. He was a shy and unassuming man, never one to seek the spotlight, but we who knew him understood just how much warmth, kindness, and gentle humour sat beneath that quiet exterior. His sense of humour wasn’t loud, but it was always there – subtle, perfectly timed, and often catching us by surprise. Stan and Jenny built a wonderful life together, grounded in hard work, loyalty and partnership. As they neared retirement they found their places in Paynesville, living by the waterfront – settings that suited them perfectly. Stan loved the water, and boating became one of his great passions. He took enormous enjoyment in purchasing and upgrading his boats and many of us were lucky enough to spend time with Stan and Jenny out on the water, sharing those happy moments on the Gippsland Lakes. There were also many happy times travelling with them around Australia and the world. These memories we will keep forever.
Rest peacefully Stan. You will be deeply missed and always remembered.
