Sandi Coleman & Allan Marslandsays:

Our very sincere condolences to Leanne, Mack and all the family. Pete will always be remembered as one of the most truly genuine guys you could ever have the pleasure of knowing and he will be terribly missed. Pete was “ poetry in motion” on his telemark skis and we will miss seeing him glide down those slopes! Our thoughts are with you with much love and hugs! xxxx

Mark and Sharon Cloutiersays:

Two dates on a page, where life begins and ends. What happens between those two dates is the important bit. The part where you do things, create a story, live a life, make a difference, touch people’s hearts and find love. How lucky are we to have known Pete? To love him, be part of his life, be part of Leanne and Mack’s life. For Sharon and I, we think of the crazy Cointreau Balls, the dinner parties with funny hats, the wine tours, the mountains, the fly fishing, the rafts down the Swampy Plain River, the walks into the remote tarns of Tasmania, the sausage sizzles, the poetry, our golden retrievers – Tokay, Harvey, Cardhu, Ghille, and now Bronte. The laughs and more laughs, the endless laughs. Love.

Rebecca Spokessays:

Pete, our will never forget the great days on the snow as you were the guide for our daughter. We had so much fun with you and Mack on those days. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Tomosays:

Hello Peter. too fast. my best friend.

Ski every day. Sushi I ate in Toyama. Akihabara, Yakitori.

It’s my legend.

I am also going back to Australia. Let’s meet again.

Christine Harrissays:

I can’t find my own words to share my thoughts and feelings but this sums it up.

My Brother (author unknown)

As kids, we lived together
We fought, we laughed, we cried
We did not always show the love, that we always had inside.
All the memories that we share,
Is what bonds me now to you.
I grew to find I have a love that is very strong today.
It’s a love shared by our family, that will never fade away.
You are my brother not by choice, but by the nature of our birth
I could not have chosen a better one you were the best on earth.

You fought the battle until the end an inspiration to us all.
Love you always. Xx

Barbara Summerssays:

Thinking of you all at this sad time.
Sending love and hugs.💙🌈💙

Leanne Hullsays:

Peter I still can’t believe you are no longer with us.
Over the years our lives followed different paths but as my brother you were always in my heart and always will be.
You fought the good fight Peter.
Love you always❤️

Karen Stevenssays:

I have tried for days now and don’t know what to say, but here it is…simply good bye Peter.
I am so proud to call you my big brother, by one year, one week and one day!
We grew up in a family of 7, we each found our way in life going in various directions to follow our dreams and our passions.
Yours found Leanne and Mack – the loves of you life, a passion for the outdoors, skiing, fishing and bike riding.
Over the last few weeks I have never been prouder to see, hear and read how you have influenced, helped, cared for people and how much you have packed into your 59 years.
You battled so hard to stay with us all, but even the strongest of people get tired.
We will miss you forever.
Love Karen
