I will miss your stories about life in the bush, Ned Kelly, your tree felling skills and gardening skills. You will leave a big hole in the lives of your 4 surviving children, 27 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren as they will miss their Pop. Your wife Alice of almost 63 years will miss you the most.

What always amazed me was your knowledge of names, places, family, geography and neighbours from years ago and places wide spread.

Pop, we wish we could be there tomorrow to share in celebration of your life. Due to covid restrictions we will be joining our family online. We know that you are here with us, and I am so glad that you were able to meet Arthur, even if it was over FaceTime.

You were loved by so many; a great person who always looked out for others before yourself. Thankyou for the great memories with both you, my brothers and our cousins, I will forever hold them close to my heart.

Sending love to the rest of our family, and all of Pop’s friends.

Love Jess, Mitch, Walter and Arthur xx

Pop,
How do you say goodbye to someone that meant so much to you . What gives me comfort is knowing your now at peace , having a beer watching the footy with Uncle John and other family members that we have lost through the years.
I will miss your endless wisdom, knowledge and your guidance about life and your never ending love for nan and your family,

I’m finding it very hard not being there in person to say goodbye , but always know that I will love and remember you always .

RIP Pop xo

Pop, I wish I could be there to say goodbye one last time and honour the amazing life you lived. You were always there whenever I needed you growing up, giving me a helping hand or offering another perspective on how to overcome the challenges life threw at me. I’ll always remember relaxing with you and Nan after a hard day gardening, enjoying a cool drink whilst chatting about the mischief you got up to at my age, or the latest exploits of the Aussie cricket team.

I’ll never forget the impact you had on my life, thanks for all the enjoyment you provided myself the family as a whole over the years.

Lots of love,
Michael Wright
