Passed away peacefully at Mercy Palliative Care on Monday, 11th July 2022, aged 78 years.
Beloved husband of Liz.
Dearly loved dad of Bill, Tom and Jack and father-in-law of Sally, Skye and Katja.
Loved grandpa of Bridget, Skarlett, Matilda and Peta.
Son of Frank and Mary (both dec.) and brother of Rae and Ralph (both dec.).

I would like to say that Mick was a great man.
Sorry to hear of his death.
I worked with Peter Speirs in the shop in Wodonga, and Mick would come in to see Peter for a chat.

Dear Liz and family, what a beautiful service, a fitting tribute to Mick. The boys were just great, speaking together so lovingly about their Dad who was always fun to be with, a tremendous father to his sons and who also gave willingly of his time and know-how to help others. Ralph and I and our family always loved the joining of all Hoods together at Kywanna for Christmases and on more sedate occasions. God speed Mick.

Dear Liz, Bill, Tom, Jack and family,
What a beautiful service for a loving, loyal gentleman.
Mick will always be remembered by me for his generosity of time and his compaction, especially through Raes last few months.
Even as a little girl at Kywanna, I remember Bill and I spending time with Mick and Perce down in the shed, on the veranda of the little house with Min for morning smoko and wondering around the bull sheds.
May you all find comfort in your many happy memories.
