Funeral Details
The Funeral Service to Celebrate the Life of Leslie Michael Nugent will be held on Wednesday,
29th May 2024 commencing at 1:30pm at St Matthews Anglican Church, 516 Kiewa Street, Albury.
The cortege will leave for burial at Glenmorus Gardens, Glenmorus Street (end of Union Rd) Glenroy.
Everyone is Welcome.
Members of the Police are respectfully invited to attend.

May Serving Member, SenSgt Les NUGENT APM, NSWPF # 14839 from Redfern Police Academy Class 128, who Served the people of NSW for over 52 years ( and aged 71 years ), between 8 August 1971 – 14 May 2024, Forever Rest In Peace.
I was honoured to serve with Les 99-2002 in Albury. A true gentleman & respected operational Police Officer who served his community & State for over 52 years. What an outstanding achievement. So sad he never had the opportunity to enjoy his well earned retirement. RIP 💜

Worked with Les back in the 70’s, came into contact through his transfer to Albury. Such a sad occasion, visited Les a couple of weeks ago and he appeared to be in good spirits. Sorry I am unable to attend Les funeral. My deepest condolences to Jane and family, may you stay strong. RIP old, mate.
