Our dearest mate Steve (aka “Awful”),

How do you say goodbye to someone who was so loved?

Steve, there are no words to express how shattered we are to lose you our wonderful friend.
You remained so stoic and positive whilst fighting the toughest fight of your life and how you carried yourself was inspirational.
Although our hearts are so broken right now, we take the greatest comfort in knowing all the precious memories we have made together will be cherished forevermore.
We are going to miss your crazy banter, the laughs we had and most of all, we are going to miss that beautiful face of yours. You had the ability to light up any room you walked into Steve.
We promise to always remember that no matter how fast our car goes, yours is always going to go the fastest.
It have been our absolute privilege to call you our mate ❤️

Our most heartfelt sympathy and love to your beautiful Kim, and to your wonderful parents Liz and Bob xxx

P.S – Hope Rakey has welcomed you with mate and that you fellas have caught up on having a beer….or many!

Katrina Wtulichsays:

My thoughts and condolences are with Steve’s wife, parents, family and friends at this time.

Steve, you made a huge impact on my career and life at Ventia. As my manager for one year, you were so kind, empathic, encouraging, and brought so much humour and enjoyment to our day to day (even when doing treatments). You pushed me outside my comfort zone and saw capabilities in me that gave me so much confidence and passion to my work life. I will forever be grateful for the leadership, and you’ll be missed in our company.

I’m so glad we had that beer and laughs last year. And no doubt Steve you’re enjoying them now!
