Passed away peacefully at Beechworth Hospital on 24 February 2023 aged 80 years.
Loved son of Jimmy and Girlie (both dec), brother to Russell (dec.), Murray, Barry and Dianne. Dear uncle to Jaunita, Nathan (dec.), Jason and Emily; Peita and Matt, Quiny and Mon, Ash and Chris. Great uncle to Hartley, Indiana, Mackenzie, Tate, Lex, Zali, Harriet and Patrick.
Max lived a life of service to his country and community, a quiet and gentle soul who will be sadly missed.

Funeral Details
WHITEHEAD Maxwell James
The Funeral Service for the late Maxwell James Whitehead, will be held in the Uniting Church, Ford Street, Beechworth, on Friday March 10th 2023, commencing at 1.30pm.
At the conclusion of the service , the cortege will leave for burial at the Beechworth Cemetery, Balaclava Road, Beechworth.
In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Council Victoria, envelopes will be available at the Church.
